Breast infection?

I'm breast feeding my 7 week old and past 2 days i've been feeling sick i'm super cold all the time and my right breast is a little tender I just checked my temp and i'm at 100.2 degrees my right breast doesn't make enough make as my left has been that way since my first. She still has feed off that breast today can it be an infection? Or am I just getting sick?

It could be mastitis. Are there any red spots on your breast? Monitor it closely, if that pain gets worse or your temp goes up get checked ASAP!

Keep feeding and/pumping pumping that tender  breast. Clogged duct can lead to mastitis. You can massage it in the shower too. You would feel a lump or lumps where the clogged duct is most likely. That's what I felt but never got mastitis. Your milk is still good though keep feeding

Sounds like what I had a couple weeks ago at 8 weeks pp. fever of 100.1, swollen painful boobs mainly my left, flu like symptoms. Call your OB. Luckily, my symptoms went away without antibiotics after about 24 hours. I exclusively pump so I increased my pumps. if you’re nursing, keep nursing from that side. Warm compresses, hot showers, massage, and Tylenol as needed. See what your doctor says, hope you feel better!

Absolutely keep feeding. As much as you can. And get an antibiotic from your doctor ASAP.

Mastitis. almost certainly. It needs antibiotics and the sooner you get onto it the better - don't wait. You can keep feeding bub it won't hurt them.
