Did you ever ovulate on letrozole if the lower dosage didn’t make you??

Question

I am currently on 2.5 mg of letrozole, and it doesn’t look like I ovulated this month. I have done 5 mg of letrozole a while back (just ONE cycle), and ended up with an ovarian cyst and didn’t ovulate.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does this mean letrozole probably isn’t the route for me? Would love any input! 
Background: I have PCOS and have not gotten my cycle back since stopped birth control in 2017. I am 24. My tubes are clear and my husband has super sperm 😂

I didn’t ovulate on 2.5mg, but I did the following month on 5mg

Yeah they had to increase mine to 7.5 and for 10days.

I just find out I have PCOS and I am taking 2.5 I take 3 pills a day

I have PCOS and didn’t ovulate on 2.5 or 5. Also tried clomid 50 and that didn’t do it either. I need a trigger shot to ovulate and once we started doing ultrasounds to see the follicles, we saw that 2.5 was producing one nice follicle. Just needed to add the shot. No issues with it causing cysts.

I had to go up to the highest of 10mg before I ovulated. I got 2 follicles to grow. I'm currently 12w5d pregnant.

I have PCOS and just finished my first round of Letrozole 5mg and got my very first positive ovulation test ALL YEAR!! Now the wait is on to take a PT 🙌🤞 good luck to you ♥️

I'm going to be starting that in a few days! They said they are giving me a trigger shot that's actually supposed to make me ovulate so I'm super confused!
