How do you feed your baby medicine?

My 10mo is currently down with mild croup which also infected his respiratory, and Dr prescribed antibiotics and cold medicine for his runny nose. So my question is, how do you all feed yr baby medicines? My lo hates is so much and cry when it's medicine time 😭 any ideas to make it easy for him? Mixing with milk does not work as he can taste the difference 🤦‍♀️

We where always instructed to put the syringe into the pocket of their lower check and that they will swallow it. It is never a pleasant taste and some always falls out out I just swoop it with my finger amd put as much back in as I can.

We just use a syringe and point it towards the side of baby’s cheek kind of in the back

Prick a hole in a pacifier if they take one or use a bottle nipple and while they're sucking administer the meds and follow with milk if they're fussy to calm them.

Unfortunately we have to essentially force him to take it. It got so bad that at some point we were mixing with Hershey’s syrup, which is what they do in children’s hospital, but that only minimally helped.

I wouldn’t recommend the yoghurt as it’s quite counter productive regarding the runny nose. Maybe some mashed or puréed fruit that your baby really likes? Maybe something with a strong flavor that will cover up the medicine taste

Maybe put it in yogurt or something else sweet?.. Hope your lo feels better soon.
