Postpartum infection?

Has anyone ever gotten any type of infection or UTI postpartum? I am 1 month post partum no longer bleeding but when i empty my bladder its painful with slight cramping, urine is foul smelling as well and all in all it just doesn't feel "right" down there. No itching or anything like that.

I haven’t but would definitely make an appointment with your OBGYN to get checked to be safe.

I had a uti when my first was 3 weeks old because I wasn’t using the bathroom often enough.  I ended up in the emergency room due to a high fever.
After my second baby, I had a uterine infection due to a piece of placenta that was left behind.  That was about 7 days post partum.
If you suspect an infection, get seen quickly xx

I would call if possible and see, before having the baby I had an infection. I called midwife on call and she recommended I go to walk in which I did.
