Do you need a reason to want another child?

I have two kids of my own and I really want a third baby. When my husband asks me why I just tell him because I just do. I love my kids and would love a third. Also I know its not a valid reason to bring another into the world but both pregnancies were unsupported by our family and negative in the beginning because I wasn't done with college, we weren't married, etc. Now I have graduated and have a very nice paying job, we own a house, have been married for two years, etc. I really want one pregnancy where the family is excited and supportive because I felt I was robbed of the experience. So anyways, do you really need a reason to want another baby?

If you want another child and your husband does too then that’s all the reason you need. Personally I think it’s a bit weird to want one because you want a better pregnancy? But that’s just me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it’s a lot to put on a child to have their reason for existing being you wanted a better pregnancy experience. I feel like there’d be some favoritism towards that child.

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and my husband is already saying "babe, don't get on birth control" 🙄🖕 I hate pregnancy, like literally hate it. So I think maybe I'm actually gonna adopt our third and call it a day  
But in general no, as long as you can afford them and love them have at it.

No you don't need a reason, but I feel like part of your reason for wanting a third is what you told us about feeling robbed during your other two pregnancies. 
I got pregnant a second time when my daughter was 2 months (got pregnant very first cycle, but we weren't trying) and unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage at 9 weeks 3 days. Once bleeding was stopped I wanted another baby so bad, the baby fever and heartbreak was so strong but all I wanted was another baby. My husband wanted another one too but neither of us could really understand why because originally we didn't want another baby until our daughter was at least a year old. After my miscarriage I got pregnant on my very first cycle and didn't even get my period. I'm not 23 weeks 4 days with a baby boy, thinking about our second child always hurts, but sometimes there is no reason for wanting another besides that you do. Sometimes there is no way to explain why you want another one.

I think your husband is saying why bcs he’s asking why you can’t just be satisfied with what you have. My husband is the same...asks the same. I do have reasons for wanting another child...for a bigger family, to experience a pregnancy and baby again, to give my son a sibling...many reasons.

Yeah, I didnt have the ideal pregnancy socially but physically, it was perfect. Im not shallow enough to have over kid bc I wamt everyone to be excited and the stars are aligning. Ill have a child bc I have the need to bring another human into the world and give it love. Personally, I dont have time for that so I wouldn't have another child. Im on your husband's side if everything is fine now.

No reason what so ever kids are a joy. I want 12 kids just because I love taking care of a busy house. That's my reason.
