Is he lying???

Do guys often lie to girls about them being the best they ever had? I recently had a guy tell me I was the best and now he’s barely talking to me but sends me dick pics and tells me how he wants me every now and then (I don’t want a relationship right now and am perfectly fine with just being wanted for sex). He hasn’t made any attempts to meet up again but continues to tell me stuff like this. I’m just trying to see if he’s lying or not.
