Positive hospital birth stories please!

The closer it gets to my due date, the more videos I watch of women given birth. I’ve been trying to only watch calm and positive births to help my mindset. No horror stories for me! (Although they are real and scary I find it better to keep my mind off the what if’s)

Anyway, I will be giving birth at a hospital only because that’s what my insurance covered and I don’t have the financial means to go to a birth center, and a home birth is something I am not interested in for my first.

The more I watch the more frustrated I get seeing women give birth with a huge team, wires all over them, and laying flat in their backs! Is this the only option at a hospital!!? It’s obviously different then a birth center, but it feels so crazy if it’s a low risk birth.

Id love to hear any hospital natural birth stories/experiences that were positive please to ease my mind that I won’t just be doomed in my experience!
