Actually, it would be more historically correct to get someone from the Middle East/ Mediterranean to play an Egyptian.
Egyptians are not black, nor are they white, nor are they Arabian but they are closer linked to the Middle East.

Our entire society is WAY to hung up on skin color. Actors are acting. They don't have to embody the character 100%. It's an act. They are acting. Does it really matter who acts as what?

I feel like outside of what history and research tells us about her own identity it’s fine as long as you don’t cross the line such as painting yourself to be of a darker skin tone. If you wanna bronze yourself up go ahead but dont do the black or brown face situation.
