Yellow discharge and blood?

I had a c section ten days ago when my labor “failed to progres.” I was in labor for 29 hours and was dilated to 6cm for 13 hours. That’s when they decided maybe a c section would be better and after being in so much pain for so long I agreed.

Anyway, my incision leaked yellow discharge and bloody discharge all over my underwear. The reason I’m sure it’s my incision leakage is because the top part of the underwear kind of sits on my incision and you can just see the yellow/bloody discharge going down the top part into the vagina area of the underwear. It was a lot of leakage. I felt slight cramping when holding my daughter but never felt any discharge. I my realized it as I went to use the bathroom this morning and realized the drainage and the foul smell.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Last week I was prescribed antibiotics because my doctor said it looks like it was becoming infected. I have a follow up appointment on Thursday. Should I try and be seen sooner??
