Funny mommy/daddy moment!

So I’m doing the dishes and husband is behind me in a different part of the room changing baby boy into pjs and a fresh diaper. We are chatting as we are each doing our things, but I can’t see them since they are behind me.

I mention how much baby boy has grown from our little 9lb6oz baby to our 24lb 7month old.

His next comment is “I wish we had a pause button for the baby”. Of course I’m all hormonal and nostalgic for how fast it’s all going and say “I know he’s at such a fun age right now I wish we could pause too and enjoy this time before he starts walking”.

My husband was like “Nooo, I mean a pause button to pause him and all his squirming right now just so I can put his pjs on more easily!!!”

Haha!! And that’s the difference between mommy’s and daddies!!!! Hahah
