What goes up must come down

Question

So my 10 month old has gotten really good at pulling himself up on anything he can, but he hasn’t figured out how to just sit down. So he stands there screaming and crying until I come over and sit him down. I’ve tried just waiting it out and letting him cry and figure it out in his own but he just ends up falling over and hurting himself. Did anyone else go through this? Did they eventually figure it out or did you do something to teach them?

Yes she would cry cause she couldn’t get down lol  and yes he will figure it out. The only thing I did was hold my hand out and she would grab onto it then let her butt fall to the ground. Now she’s figured out the lower herself to sit, and sometimes she will just put one hand down on to balance and the squat to sit. She has various methods for getting back down at this point and that was just a couple weeks after she started pulling up and walking around things. He will get it all worked out don’t worry!

Maybe when you help him down, have him land on his butt instead of you moving him so he can kind of learn that if he falls back on his butt he can get down easier. Just a thought.
