Stopping progesterone suppositories at 10weeks?

My doctor told me stop taking progesterone suppository at 10 weeks (i am 10 weeks today).
Has anyone had experience stopping at this point?

My dr is keeping me on til 20 weeks so I am so confused now... he didn’t even check my levels before prescribing, I’ve been having bleeding and cramps and also have a Subchronic hemorrhage.

My RE told me to stop at 10 weeks and I did. Everything is fine! We had an ultrasound at 10 weeks 3 days and baby is healthy and wiggling around. Your doctor wouldn't say 10 weeks if it isn't safe for you.

I was on progesterone with my first due to needing an emergency surgery when I was 4 weeks. My understanding is that before 10 weeks progesterone is the hormone that feeds your pregnancy/embryo. After 10 weeks the placenta is grown and takes over.

My docs at the fertility center said to stop at 10. I asked about taking it longer it because I was anxious, and he said 10 weeks is completely safe because the placenta takes over around 7 weeks!

My perinatologist told me to stop at 12, my OB said 10. I’m going to go down to once a day at 11 weeks and stop completely at 12.

I was told 10 weeks, but I plan to wean off. So I'll prob do it for 10.5 or 11. With my son I did it 12, but only because I insisted (that doctor wanted to stop at 10 as well).
