How did you know you were in labor?

So for the last few hours I've been feeling a bit off. My hips are aching, my back is killing me,  I'm having some cramps and I'm so exhausted. I actually got sleep last night so I don't understand. But the last time I remember feeling like this I went into labor with my first born. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out if I'm just crazy 😂

I had no idea i was in labor. I went for my 36 week check up the dr did a check to see if i had started dilating any, I was 5 cm dilated and was having contractions but i did not feel them. They connected me to a machine to keep track of them and it shocked me to see the machine pick the contractions. It wasnt until i have 6 1/2 cm dilated that i started to feel the contractions.

Have a big glass of water, a bath, and go to bed. You might be dehydrated, in early labor, or just stressed. Good luck. I knew I was in labor because my water broke.

I had no clue with my first since my water broke out of nowhere. I had false labor 2 months with my second daughter and thought I’d go early with my third and didn’t. IDK. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

My mucus plug came out, and within the hour I started contractions.  What you are experiencing sounds like the beginning of my labor except I didn't have back pain till I was pushing.

I was having timeable contractions all night and my water was leaking

I would time your cramps and such. If it's inconsistent, it's probably just Braxton Hicks. That's how I knew I was in labor and then, my water broke lol
