You’re not going to prevent them you can take steps in hopes that if you do get them they aren’t as bad as they can be. You have to find what works for you I used coconut oil and bioderma lotion with both my pregnancies. I still got them but they’re really light in color.

I’ve been putting oils and lotions on every day and I’m still getting them honestly if your going to get them then they will happen I don’t think anything really helps

They are purely genetic. No amount of oil will prevent them if you are genetically predisposed. That being said, I did get itchy if I didn’t oil up with bio-oil so I used it more for comfort than anything.

I used bio oil in the beginning then in the middle and end used coconut oil religiously...didn't get a single one

Be lucky? I got no stretch marks with my oldest and did nothing. With my second i actually tried to avoid getting them and i got really bad ones
