Pregnant on Birth Control?

I’ve been on birth control for a year now and recently started to have some spotting that resembled Implantation Bleeding. Light, intermittent, dark brown spotting. That started two days ago. I have never ever had spotting while on BC and I didn’t take a pill late that could’ve caused it. I stopped taking my pills until I can make sure whether I’m pregnant or not. The bleeding has not happened yet today but this is the morning of day 4. Can stopping birth control while pregnant cause light spotting? I’m currently waiting for my insurance to go through so I can’t see a doctor yet unless it’s an emergency.

I’m not too sure through I was told to stay on the birth control until pregnancy is confirmed. Hopefully everything is okay :)

I would get spotting on a few pills I've tried in the past. They worked fine for a year and then I'd start having spotting and my doctor would switch me to try a different pill. I was never pregnant, it just happened after about a year on the pill.

Yes if you were pregnant stopping the pill could cause some bleeding. I doubt you are though, and it's fine to keep taking them until you find out for sure that you're pregnant because in the meantime you're increasing your chances of getting pregnant, it's highly unlikely you were pregnant on the pill

I doubt your pregnant if you been taking the pill. I experienced exact same thing. I think bu stopping the pill you may experience more intense bleeding later.
