Irregular heart beat

For those whose baby had an irregular heart beat while pregnant how did things go?? They are sending me to a high risk OB and I'll be seeing him Tuesday. My current OB said this happens and sometimes they grow out of it and she just wants to get a 2nd opinion and see what he wants to do since he handles this more than she does. Did your babies grow out of it or was there something more long term?
