October 14th I had contractions throughout the whole night

October 14th I had contractions throughout the whole night. I started to time them at 5am where they were about 7 minutes apart and the time increased to about 15 minutes up until noon where they stayed consistent for the rest of the day after 12pm for 30 minutes apart. Each contraction lasting less then 1 minute long. After putting my daughter to bed at 9pm, I felt a contraction and at 9:07pm and my water finally broke! Contractions jumped down to 15 minutes apart and within 30 minutes they were 5-8 minutes apart. As they were admitting us into the hospital at 10:30pm my contractions went to 5 minutes apart and felt much stronger. We finally got a room and at first I tried to cope with the pain but decided I wanted to sleep while I could considering I could be laboring all day. I turned on my hypnobirthing music and for a while I could manage napping between each contraction until after 2:30am contractions were 4-5 minutes apart and even more intense then before so I knew time was near to meet our baby boy! When I finally went into active labor I used laughing gas to sleep in between each contraction, without it I wouldn’t have been able to do so! Finally when contractions got harder I had my husband stay awake and stay by my side, I needed his help more to focus and get through each hard contraction. My nurse acted as a doula and gave great advice. When it came to pushing it felt so different compared to my first pregnancy and I think it had to do with the fact that I had no pain medication at all! But I really believe my body is thanking me for that because I did not tear and my recovery has been so much better and easy! No stitches, I can pee without the squirt bottle, and I have easy mobility within the same day! Complete opposite of my first pregnancy but everything I ever wanted ! ❤️ At 6:40am on 10/15/19 after about 5 good pushes, we met our baby boy Andrei who was 6lb 12oz and 19.3 in long!
