Will progesterone...?

My doctor just prescribed progesterone for me after several chemical pregnancies.

I’m a little nervous. If I get pregnant again and the baby has something wrong with its chromosomes, would progesterone essentially force that baby to hang on even if it weren’t meant to be viable??

I only want the progesterone to work if progesterone is indeed the problem. I don’t want it to force a baby that will have lifelong problems and no quality of life. 💔
