SAHM Pros and Cons...Thoughts?
Hi ladies! Long post, please bare with me!
I'm at a bit of a fork in the road in where my life is leading me. I currently have a 15 month old who goes to daycare about 44 hours a week while hubby and I both work full time. I am fortunate enough to work from home, unfortunately though, not in a capacity where my daughter could be home with me. We live in the country and my work is upping the requirements for internet speeds in order to remain working from home and I don't know if I'll be able to meet them. I've been thinking about being a SAHM long before baby girl was even born but I'm scared if I have what it takes to make it. I know it's no easy task! I think my biggest concern would be going stir crazy in the house. I'm not very good at just being in the house all day. I know that we'll go out and do things and I have people I can go see even on weekdays. I've also thought about still having her at daycare about 10 hours a week for social interaction and so mama can get some extra things done/self care. My husband is gone from about 7am-8pm 1-2 days a week and I would probably make those her daycare days. I guess I'm just really scared to commit to it, I don't take the decision lightly and I do have a good job. I worry about re-entering the workforce later, if that's what we decide, and not being able to put away as much money for retirement along with baby girls college expenses while I'm off and God forbid anything happened with my husband's job and we're both unemployed. He's a Programmer though and there doesn't appear to be a lack of jobs in the area, they just tend to pay under market value. I've never had a pull to any specific career field, and as long as I can remember I've just wanted to be the caretaker of the family. Anywho... What are your ladies experiences

My sweet baby! 🥰🥰🥰
