Iui#2 Am I wrong??

So I’m curious i had my first iui few weeks ago didn’t work.. ask I’m on to my 2nd one so today I had my baseline test to tell of course my days of clomid and make sure I didn’t have any cyst everything was great well first iui I had to go back for ultrasound 3 times because my follicles were maturing slower first day was 10dp then 12dp then 16dp I had great sizes on cd16 which was my final day then I took oviderl next night at 9pm so blood work showed I had time before ovulating well this time she is not having me come in till cd16 which was the last day I came in for the first round of iui I feel like this is kinda late with not every cycle is the same wonder if I ovulated already would I be wrong to ask to come ima few days before to feel safe ???
