Being referred for ivf after 3rd iui

I was told I have 6 cycles of iui prior to talking about ivf. I had An ectopic and lost my right tube prior to iui so it’s decreased my fertility greatly. But I’m frustrated they cancelled future cycles. Has anyone had this happen?
