Cramping??

So I am 4+6w and I have been getting light intermittent cramping since before I even found out I was pregnant. I understand that it’s more normal than something to be worried about. However, about every other day I get a more intense cramp that kind’ve stops me in my tracks. It only lasts a few seconds and just started up in the last few days. I have a Dr’s appointment later today and I’m going to ask about it but I just wanted to see if anybody has/is experiencing this?
