Plan B and men

I feel like men should be educated on Plan B along with woman. I was out with some guy friends today and we were discussing contraception because I was telling them how I’m getting my tubes removed because of how sick birth control makes me. One guy was like “why don’t you just take plan B regularly?”

Well there was so much wrong with that statement. I told him that that is not a regular birth control at all; it’s not safe to be taken so often and not as reliable as regular birth control. If birth control makes me sick Plan B is definitely not an option either. He looked up on the internet and found a site that said woman can take it as many times as they want. I tried to tell them how wrong that information is. They really had no idea the effects it has on a woman’s body! Granted they never really had sexual experiences before, but I feel like it’s a topic to be educated on so they don’t share misinformation if they have a future partner.
