So my bf and I are talking baby names and I like the name Verity, Sophia and Olivia and he says no cause they’re his exes but like I had my heart set of a few of them :( like I get like some shit went down but the kid isn’t gonna be like them and I find them so gorgeous 
I’m just being petty maybe but still

Sorry but I agree with him. I wouldn't want to name my baby after an ex. It's the person you associate with that name... Negatively or positively.

My husband wanted to name our daughter the same name as an ex. I said no. Naming can be tough but when there is bad emotional ties to a name just leave it be.

Good or bad break up, I wouldn’t do it. I have an ex named Trevor, and we split somewhat amicably but I’d NEVER name a son that, even though I’ve always loved the name. Too weird.
