Opinions?

I should be 18 weeks pregnant, and i know you can typically find out the gender at 20 weeks, I was only last seen at 6 weeks.. no hate! i know it's because where i live not many places do free ultrasounds after the first trimester and my dads insurance doesn't cover prenatal care so i had to apply for Medical assistance under my own name and the process has been taking awhile but i had a checkup with a regular doctor and all my vitals are normal and i haven't been having bleeding or extreme cramping only in the first trimester from my body stretching because i'm petite and short, and I want to find out the gender because i feel it's a boy and we've been waiting so long and i didn't want to rush my boyfriend but i don't want him to put it off he just started working i want to know what he wants to do, his parents want to wait till birth and he isn't sure if he wants to wait till birth yet and i tried talking about it last night when he was awake from his nap and he said i was being selfish and it's always what i want.. 😕 and with my hormones i just sat there and didn't say anything else crying not to cry because first time teen parents i was trying to be civil, i don't want to feel like i need to wait just because they want to all i wanted to know if he would be okay if i could find out because being so anxious to see the baby again and just know the gender so i could get clothes and try to find gender neutral ones so they don't see the color blue, i feel like either way this will lead into an argument and i will seem like the bad person for already knowing what i want to do and it's not what he wants
