I like the modern one just because it has more offerings, such as the microwave, phone and buttons. Those are things my children love when it comes to their kitchen. If you want a bigger chalkboard, they make chalkboard paint that you can do yourself on the bottom half of the refrigerator or even the dishwasher or side.

My personal preference is more farmhouse, but for this particular children's kitchen I like the modern one better.  Not sure why...it almost looks like it has more bells and whistles even though it may not.  Obviously both are cute and I don't think either is a horrible eye sore😝💓

My daughter was so mad when we put her kitchen together and it had everything BUT a microwave. She begged me to get her a new one with a microwave and I felt so bad because I could have gotten one with it and I got the other one. Definitely go for the modern one it has so much more.

We actually have the first one and the tap lights up and makes a running water sound, and the hop does the same making a boiling water sound. Also the black parts are all chalkboard so you can write a menu for them. It also has a working ice cube dispenser. We love it.

I have the corner kitchen version of the modern one (Kidcraft I think). My girl loves it. Took me two days to put it together, there were 57 steps. I would pay for the setup if I had known (wayfair does it for $50 I think).

I like the first one because it looks more playful, the second one has more to offer but it looks more "grown up" like no colors or anything, just plain 😅

My 4 kids only liked the doors of the kitchen so I picked 2 because it has more things with doors.
