Daily wheezing?

Question

I have a slight wheeze due to allergy. I only hear it once in a while too, so it’s not every breath. And it’s not enough to warrant an inhaler. Is there anyway to really manage it or stop it? It doesn’t affect my breathing but it’s annoying.

I used to work in a pulmonology clinic and if you're wheezing then you should definitely be on some medication for it. If it only flares up during allergies start taking an allergy medicine (you might have to try a couple before finding the right one, some might not work for you they work differently for different people). If that alone doesn't manage it you probably should go to the Dr to either get on an inhaler or some type of nebulized medicine (like Albuterol).

If you’re wheezing, your breathing is being affected. That’s what My pulmonary doctor has always told me. You need to manage it before it starts to get worse. If you’re not already on a daily allergy med I would look into that.
