Have decided on a scheduled c section.

Although I still have time to "change my mind", I'm pretty set on a scheduled section! I dont think I can handle the possibility of a emergency one. Especially since my SO will be at home with my son. Had my first midwife appointment today and they are totally supportive on it. They advised me they will be with me during the c section, and take my son into care right away and then once I'm "cleared" they will take over my care from the OB. I realllllly wanted a midwife this time so the fact that they stay with me whether I chose vbac or section is amazing. Any scheduled c sections moms after an emergency section? Was the recovery "easier". How did it go? Any tips and tricks since I can be prepared this time!?
