Help! Moving my baby into her own room. Am I too attached??

Ellie

So my little one has just turned 12 weeks but I’m already starting to worry about moving her into her own room at 6 months. At the moment she’s in a next-to-me type cot and I’m struggling to get used to the fact that I won’t see her or be near her at night

I spend all day with her and my partner is a chef so he isn’t home until very late (11pm) so I’m very attached to her as she is the only person that I’m around all day (my family live very far away so I only talk to them over the phone and visit once a month or so)

Am I too attached? At the moment I don’t even like the thought of leaving her with someone else because I’m worried something will happen

I’m also worried that she won’t settle in her room by herself.

Are there any tips I can try to help get her used to her new room for when the time comes? And also for me to get used to being away from her 😢
