Velamentous cord insertion

I recently had my anatomy scan and was told I may have VCI. I go back in a few weeks for another sonogram to get a better look, but in the meantime I wanted to know if anyone was told this and turned out to not have it at all? I'm not exactly worried about it, but my doctor doesn't want to talk about it until after my next sonogram, and I'm struggling with that part. It's hard not to talk about something so potentially serious when no one wants to acknowledge it yet. I just have a lot of questions and struggle with sitting around waiting for almost a month to get answers. 😅
