What are the odds...

I'm 6 weeks PP. My husband and I got a little carried away when I was two weeks PP and again at 3 weeks PP...

I'm formula feeding and I wasn't taking any birth control at the time because I was waiting 6 weeks to get the paragard implant. I'm gonna go on Monday to have it inserted.

I feel like I need to take a pregnancy test but I wasn't sure if it would come up as a positive because I just had a baby or if it does come up positive, I am actually pregnant. I feel so stupid but it was just a stressful time and we just got carried away 🙄

Is it really possible to get pregnant 2 or 3 weeks after you had a baby?! It's kind of hard to judge since I haven't had my period yet lol. We've been using condoms ever since, but I just can't believe we were so stupid!

** thanks everyone for your comments I just went ahead and took a pregnancy test and it was a big fat negative lol. Obviously I'll still ask for a blood test on Monday to be absolutely sure. and for those that are going on and on about possibility of infections and such, I had a definite go ahead between two and four weeks postpartum, highlighted multiple times throughout my discharge paperwork. I felt completely comfortable and ready to have sex so thanks for your input but I wasn't asking about that at all.
