I don’t know what to do

I’m only turning 18 tomorrow and I can’t wait to move out. My parents have 3 pit bulls and my dad has some weird thing against them, specifically the one that favors my mom. He says he always hears them barking (I never hear them, but he says it’s constant 🤷🏼‍♀️) and yells at them & calls them names a lot. Well today, I saw him kick one of them 😭 He noticed I was watching and said “oh she’s always begging, I’m not going to feed her” and I said “Ok, but that doesn’t mean you have to kick her”. He just gave me a weird look and went on like nothing happened. I tried to tell my mom but I don’t know if she even believes me. I would report him but I’m so scared of them being taken. We’ve had them for years and I love them so much. Not to mention, since they’re pit bulls, I feel like they’d either be put down or someone would take them to make them into fighting dogs. What should I do?
