Job rant

I've had the same job since I was 16. I'm 22 now. Well I had to call off for a morning shift yesterday 6AM- 2PM due to not having any power from a storm that we had (tornado warning and all). I let him know the night before at 8PM that I still didn't have power so there wouldn't be any way that I could make it to work. Literally nobody just wakes up at 4:30 AM for fun and I have 2 small children and how he expected me to get them both dressed for 30° weather in the dark is beyond me. Well he texted me last night to let me know that I no longer had a job and he was taking me off the schedule. Well I replied saying that's perfectly fine and he texted me back saying I wasn't fired but since I don't care he's taking it as I quit. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ While this couldn't come at a worse time because our sons 1st birthday is this month and our daughters is 2 weeks after that and then Christmas it's just frustrating but my fiance has been so understanding. He's already went and got a second job to cover all the bills and our daughter was just diagnosed with Autism so he wants me to stay home to make sure the babies have the best care and I just love this man and everything he does for us.
