Latching tips 😓

Hi mamas! Babygirl is one month old and from birth I always had “ pain “ when she would latch. So yesterday I had a lactation specialist come and look at her latch and she said she has a really good latch but why am I still in pain?? It’s like a burning feeling. Is this normal and my nipples just have to be conditioned for a bit or what? Any tips is helpful 😓

Side note: after the first couple of days of being home from the hospital my nipples were in so much pain so I’ve been exclusively pumping up until yesterday when the lactation specialists came to make sure her latch was good.
