The IVF decision.

Hey everyone! I’m Christina and about to be 33 at the end of the month. My husband and I have been ttc for a little over 2 years with no luck.

We have both been through the testing. The only test that came back unexpected was my thyroid-it’s under active. I have been on meds for it and it has since stabled out to normal levels. All the other tests have come back with normal results and we have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility.

We have been told we should move forward with additional treatments such as IVF OR IUI. We are fortunate enough to have a decent amount of coverage from health insurance so the money isn’t really the decision.

The decision really starts at what point do you stop trying on your own? At what point did you know it was okay to move forward?
