How can I help her to crawl?

Question

I put my 8 month old daughter on tummy time for most of the day. If she’s not eating or sleeping, I put her on her tummy. Sometimes she gets on her hands and knees and rocks, but most of the time, she either sits up or gets into a plank position. Toys interest her to an extent. But she’s a smartass 😋 she gets into her plank, then leaps forward to get it.
My son was crawling by this point, so maybe that’s why I’m concerned.

Every baby crawls, walks, talks at their own pace. My daughter didnt crawl until 10 months but she would get where she needed to go. Then a couple weeks later she was fully walking. If it concerns you then bring it up to her pediatrician, but I wouldn’t worry quite yet.

Some babies don’t ever crawl. They go straight to walking.

My daughter started crawling at 8 months. I'd coax her into crawling by sitting away from her with a sweet treat in my hand so she'd have to come to me to get it. I'd also crawl around her so she'd see what I wanted her to do.

My kid didn’t crawl until 12 months old. It’s alright. When your kid grows up, you’re not going to look back and wonder why they didn’t crawl by 8 months. 
Don’t stress it.
