New ring!

So long story short. Husband and I went through a really rough patch. Where I was unsure if I would stay or go. I gave him back the ring he gave me and didn’t want to even look at our wedding photos. We went to therapy for a year and after three hard years of working on communication and our relationship we are now back to the love, trust, and commitment we used to have. It’s different but I don’t want to be with anybody but him for the rest of my life. Anyways, I still never put the wedding ring back on. So we are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary (been together for 11years now) and he surprises me with a ring! We will be renewing our vows soon after our second son is born and he wanted me to have something new for it. I previously had a small round solitaire but this one is fire! I usually don’t go for this type of ring or pear shaped diamond but the thought of him picking it out for me makes me love it. I just wanted to gush about it somewhere and brag about how far we have come as a couple. Excuse my swollen chubby fingers!
