How hard is it flying with a baby alone
Need realistic expectations.
Am planning to fly cross continue so I will have to change flights and the total travel time will be a little over a day and some hours.
My baby will be 6 months then.
I have to take myself to the airport so I can't take my car because I can't park it anywhere for more than a month. Thus I will take the train to the airport (needs connection as it is 3 hours to the international airport from my place) I think I won't take a strawler either because I have a case to push. Which means I have to carry baby, plus diaper bag, and baggage. As days get closer, am Starting to wonder if it is wise to do this to both me and the baby. We get so tired just traveling around the town and sometimes with help. Reason for travel is to see family. Is it worth it or should I wait until he can stand at least? He is learning how to sit supported so probably he will be sitting on his own when we travel if all goes well.
Please share personal experience if you have had such long flights alone. What did you do? How did it go? What should I expect?
