Sleep deprivation is strong

Michele

The only way my baby sleeps is in his car seat. I usually wait about ten minutes or so and then try moving him to his bassinet. He instantly wakes and cries until moved back to the car seat or held.

I tilt the car seat back at night when I’m most out of it, so that he is flat on his back, but his legs are in the air. I don’t know if this is safer, but I think it might be.

I’m at a loss. I can’t sleep unless he is in a safe place. I don’t sleep all day, or night. Every time I think I might give in, I google articles on SIDS so that I stay vigilant.

I cannot let him sleep in the car seat unsupervised. Still, I’m so tired. I’ve slept two hours in three days. What advice do you have for helping me switch my baby over?
