Mom Bod Blues

Regan

breastfeeding mamas, I’m four and a half months postpartum, and I’m still about 20 lbs from my goal weight. I’m definitely not trying to do anything drastic right now. I’m just worried that I will never look even close to what I was. I had a c-section, and I like have a shelf of fat over my surgical scar.. I have heard that your body naturally hangs onto fat while breastfeeding. Is this true? Will it be easier to lose weight once my baby is weaned? I guess I’m just needing validation for being chubby right now. I’ve just never been this uncomfortable in my own body. Also, stretch marks. What are y’all doing for yours. I know genetics have a lot to do with it, but I just wonder if any of y’alls ever faded a good bit.
