Just needed to get this out..

I’m originally from Texas, I moved to Cali to be with my now husband. I normally ok with it but on holidays I really miss my family and friends. Today’s my birthday and my first birthday wishes were from my family and best friend. My husband or his family aren’t even aware that it’s my birthday. I feel I get glanced over on my birthday and holidays. I know it shouldn’t be a big deal. Just kind of sucks when I know my family and friends at home would at least acknowledge it and give me a hug. I don’t even like to do anything crazy. All I wanted this year was a nice dinner to go eat sushi with just me and my husband. Thank you for listening, just missing home and my family.
