Hookup or more?

I can’t tell if the guy I’m currently hooking up with is just a hookup or if its becoming more. Whenever we hangout, we hookup, and he usually just texts me when he wants me to come over. But then he cuddles me, kisses my cheek, plays with my hair, tells me I have pretty eyes, and that sort of thing. I hang out with his friends and I can tell he talks about me with them. We go out to eat together and sometimes I even spend the night. But I don’t want to think it’s something that it’s not. Any advice on how to figure out what our situation is to him?
