Boyfriend at basic training

So my bf left about a week ago for basic training. I knew it was going to be hard but I didn’t realize how little we would be talking. I know basic only lasts a couple months but I don’t know how we would have a relationship when he gets deployed. I don’t know what to do,I don’t want to break up with him but when his contract is 5 years and he has no idea where he’ll be, I don’t know what to do then. I love him very much but I can’t have a relationship with someone like that and I know that I couldn’t move away from home when my school and eventual job is here. Being in the Air Force is all he’s ever talked about and I don’t want to ruin that for him. Any advice?
