Would this baby seat work...

My baby is 8 months old and can sit on her own. Would this seat, placed directly on the floor and properly buckled, be safe to put her in in the bathroom while I shower? And what about when she starts to want to stand/walk? Any experience with this baby seat? Or can you recommend a similar seat for this purpose?
