Official end date ... (Bit long)

June

I’m due November 22nd, my whole pregnancy my son has been transverse. We opted for an ECV to prevent a C-section. ECV was scheduled for the 1st however it was pushed to Nov 5. (Tuesday)

It was 85% successful. They flipped him to where his head was in my right hip and I was told to bind my belly and come back the following day for a NST and ultrasound. Yesterday we went back and while waiting for the doctor to come in he flipped back to transverse. They told me C-section was the only option. Honestly I cried all day cause I’m AFRAID of a C-section. This morning I called back asking if there was anything we could do to prevent a C-section.

The asked me to come in for another ultrasound and to talk. I got another NST and then the same resident who did my ultrasound the day prior came in to do another one and she and I talked. I couldn’t see the screen but she kept going “hmmm” then she randomly said I believe that is a head with the ultrasound wand on my lower left side. She said I’m going to get the doctor I believe your baby flipped head down since yesterday. Doctor came in and saw the same thing. My son is head down with his head a bit off to the left. He shocked the whole room. The doctor then told me that she still needs to plan for a C-section as a back up plan because my son is now diagnosed with being in a unstable lie. (Meaning his position is off and/or he keeps changing positions)

So we are officially scheduled for a C-section or induction (depending on what is position is that day) on November 20th. Hopefully he stays he down or I go into labor with him head down.
