Normal healing?
Hey mommas! I had a C-Section last Thursday night (Halloween) and have been keeping a close eye on my incision... it has been fine until this morning before I got in the shower I noticed an area about an inch/inch and a half long under my strips that looked like it had some pus or drainage. I've been keeping a pad on top of it under my belly band and it was still clean. So I ran a q-tip over it to see if I could collect anything to examine, but couldn't. I did notice a smell, not really a bad smell it just smelled like a scab or a bandaid I guess. After I showered it was mostly gone but the strips in that area were loose and kinda gross looking so I replaced them with some extra ones that the hospital gave me. I will say that the strips the nurse put on in that spot were put on rather poorly, not flush with the skin but rather bridged over my skin fold so I put the new ones on a but neater. I did call my DR office and have been waiting for like 3 hours now for a call back. Unfortunately the office is an hour away from where I live so dunno if they will want me to come in if I can make the trip today. Any thoughts on

if this is normal healing or if I should expect to head to my DR office for antibiotics?? Thanks for any advice :)
First pic is before my shower, 2nd is after I showered and replaced strips in that area. I should've taken a pic of it exposed before I replaced them but the incision looked good to me with just a bit pink and nicely sealed, no swelling or puckering.
