Breaking up multiple times does not equal a healthy relationship 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've been with my husband for 10 years and not one single time have we split. On again, off again is immaturity at its finest. If a relationship isn't working, it's not working.

The first 2 years we broke up like 5 times (one really bad one) but after that first 2 years haven’t broken up at all (were on our 6th year now and married in April of this year).

My husband and I have been together for 8 years. Married for 3 years. While we have never once packed up and left and broken up, we did take a hiatus once, to re-evaluate our relationship and where it is going ( at that time) . It was 2 years into our relationship and we fell on hard times monetary wise . We were depressed in our own ways and it affected the relationship. We decided to take a 2 month hiatus and take it from there. Fortunately, neither one of us could stand being away from each other and not talking to each other for even a week. We talked on the phone for hours and within a month we decided that we are meant together. But— we did not break up. We simply took a hiatus from the relationship and ultimately that caused both of us to realize how much we love each other

Once before marriage because important issues were not getting resolved (nothing to do with not trusting each other or abuse or anything.) Mostly related to needing to create boundaries with a couple toxic family members. He did a lot of work and went to counseling etc. and finally created the boundaries. Everything is great now (those family members are still dicks but they aren’t allowed to cause problems).

5 years together and we've not broken up. 
Though I've had past relationships in which I broke up with guys but got back   together. Not the best decision though. My gut feeling to break up usually is the right one.
