How long did it take you to heal from a c-section, and how long was it before you went back to work?

How long did it take you to heal from a c-section, and how long was it before you went back to work? 
I’m going on 3 1/2 wks from my c-section and I felt healed by 2 1/2 weeks. I’m thinking another 2 weeks until I start back up at work, but only for a few hours at a time.

With my first, I was wrote off the week my son was supposed to be due on 5/19/16 and then 5/26/16 I had bloody show and was told come in at 7am tomorrow 5/27/16 for a csection. The doctor believed that giving me meds to start labor would be more painful than just doing the csection. I remember going back to work right after the 4th of July. I always give myself the whole time to heal, but also I don’t overwork myself once I’m released to go back to work. It took me til about August to fully trust my strength again with lifting heavy objects.

With my second felt good after 5 days. About 2 weeks with my first. But I took the full 8 weeks I was given at work to fully heal and spend time with baby.

i can’t remember how long it took me to heal, fast because my doctor cleared me to go back to work 4 weeks PP. (i only work in fast food) but i went back about 6-7 weeks pp.
