Holiday gatherings

How are y’all handling holiday get togethers? My husband has a big family with lots of toddler age kids and they are all eager to meet our boy which is great but he will only be 6 weeks at that point so he hasn’t gotten any vaccines so I don’t want them in his face or passing him around all day. Should I bring him and let him stay in the car seat most of the time? Wear him in a sling? I don’t wanna seem like I’m keeping everyone away but I don’t want him sick either
