Restrictive dad

Hey girlies, so I am 17 about to turn 18 and I feel like my dad still won’t let me grow and I talked to him about it and he was like how I basically have to prove that I am mature. I feel like I may be struggling to do that and would like some suggestions as to what I can do because it’s going to bother me a lot not being able to do certain things because he doesn’t think I’m mature enough.
